An internal professional development initiative where Rotaract members share their skills and knowledge to help one another grow.
What we did
For the Club, By the Club is an ongoing professional development initiative within the Rotaract Club of Zgharta Zawie, designed to encourage members to learn from one another and develop practical skills together. The idea behind the initiative is simple: members share their own expertise with the club through workshops and training sessions, creating a culture of peer-to-peer learning. This allows members to strengthen skills that are useful both within Rotaract and in their personal or professional lives. So far, two sessions have been organized as part of the series: an Introduction to Excel workshop, focused on improving digital skills, and an Introduction to Canva session, which helped members learn the basics of design and social media branding. These sessions were led by experienced club members who shared their knowledge with the rest of the team. As the initiative continues, future sessions will cover topics such as leadership, project management, public speaking, and other practical skills, ensuring that members can continue learning and growing together. Through this collaborative approach, the initiative helps build stronger, more capable Rotaractors while fostering a spirit of teamwork and shared responsibility within the club.
