Nine members of the Rotaract Club of Zgharta Zawie participated in a youth gathering at Bkerki during the visit of Pope Leo XIV to Lebanon.
What we did
In December, Pope Leo XIV visited Lebanon and held a special gathering with young people at Bkerki, bringing together youth from across the country to share a moment of reflection, dialogue, and unity. Nine members from the Rotaract Club of Zgharta Zawie had the opportunity to attend this gathering and be part of the event. The meeting brought together young people from different backgrounds to listen to messages of hope, peace, and responsibility toward building a better future. For our members, the experience was both inspiring and meaningful. It offered a rare opportunity to participate in a historic moment and to reflect on the role young people can play in promoting service, compassion, and positive change within their communities.
